Theres a 16 tag on the boat-maybe only year it was used? no other identifying marks on the boat. i do not need this. its a dark green. plenty of room for ur trolling motor battery between transom and seat. bought 2 years ago never used it -go in back of truck. widest 10 foot v boat i've ever seen.. Re: how much does a 16' aluminum boat weigh two 20 yr olds flipped my 15 ft fiberglass hull onto my rolling cradle. it weighed approx. 450 lbs. i doubt your tin boat weighs half that. build one of these for $50 bucks makes things a lot easier when you need to move it around.. Thicker bottem and weight is good on a aluminum boat. i would go with the thick bottom if price was comparable any day of the week. the thicker bottom shouldnt weigh that much more, id have to say its got more bracing down under..
